What an awesome day i had!
It was fun, it was awesome, it was relaxing.

NST: News Strait Times, had contribute a workshop for all youngster to 'upgrade' our writing ways.

The beginning:

So i went to the school.. -skip, skip, blah blah-
When we were in the car, (packed with big bones girls and a teacher, it's totally a packed-ed cab...) and were off out of school, it's traffic jam....
-skip skip, blah blah-

So we got there, NST office building, in time, thankfully. It should be starting at 8 o'clock. Yeah... And so when we reached there, we had to write out names in some stickers, (write BIG letters), and stick to our uniform. C:

Then we went inside the seminar room... It was cold, d'uh. So later on, while we wait, there was the seminar talker (i don't remember wut you call them), and she was funny. She makes jokes a lot of time! So i had a blast of laughing...

Then the room was fill with students, so they started it. First, they told us the mystery name of the seminar talker... She drew a jug on the white board (which she wants us to guess her name), and a dish... Then she told us it was her name, Mrs. Jugdish. ... ... okay you can laugh now.

She warns us that we would be mixing up and form into groups with other school students. After that, she gave us a piece of paper (which i took 3 paper), and told us to blanky write.

Yes it did happened. She blew the wissel and all of us have to write without taking the pencil/pen off the paper. I was writing down what happened when the traffic jam starts, sort of about this morning.

Then she blew the thing again and we all stops. Even the teacher is also writing with us. First, she took one of the student, and she read out what did the student write down.

"Are you a speller? okay, she wrote 'encil, -blah blah blah, wow."

I can't remember the blah blah blah. 'Cuz she wrote words. so it's soo many i can't remember much. Then Mrs. Jugdish, went infront of the row and took one student's writing and she begun, again, read it out loud.

"I am seriously don't know what you write. I'm blank -blah blah blah, death."

I remember the last of her sentences was about death... LOL.

Then again, Mrs. Judgish took another student's writing. And another and another, until there was this girl, student, wrote about Edward Cullen... okay you can laugh or puke now.

"Edward Cullen is nice guy.. something something... he is a vampire, i want to be like him 'cuz i want to read someone's else thinking.. something something... wow, she wants to be a vampire, she wants to READ your mind"

That was a blast of laughs.. And the end of the writing was about something have to do with a boy? I can't remember much as i write this something something.. xD ROFL.

Then it was time to read a teacher's writing. This is something you gotta laugh.

"Oh it's Tuesday (it's not really that she wrote), blah blah.. and then something something, Desperate Housewife is on 10:30pm. (and we laugh) Ohhh.. so never ever calls your teacher at 10:30, 'cuz they are watching Desperate Housewife... (we laugh again) But, it's the reviewing of MJ's funeral (yes, it's showing live)... oh.. wonderful"

"So see this is what we called unconsciousness mind writing. We have the spelling-bee, (laugh), talking about death, (laugh), there's the vampire reading your minds now, (laugh), and a desperate housewife (laugh)"

The first-activities:

Yeah, it was hell-ta fun. So after that, she told us about Niexter. A column paper where student's can speak up their minds. And she talked it about a few...

Then she gave us instruction on our first activities, what are we going to do.

The grouping:

So after that, she divided us into groups, with birthdays. She called out each month's birthday and they have to walk out and formed a group. So i was group 12, 'cuz i'm November :C

But, in my group i hardly knew anyone, until we sit down (on a round table), and have a little chat. But since they are hurrying about the time and we have to start our discussion on this little orange, where we have to close our eyes first, and use our 5 senses about the orange.

Then, once we done, we open our eyes, and drew a mind map about the orange with the 5 sense added up with another sense, emotion. So, it was a group work, so we did our best to make it creatively.

And once Mrs. Jugdish blew the wissel, we stop. (which we didn't and added up more senses point.) Then, Mrs. Jugdish told us to make 5 sentences about the senses point we made up.

While MX (a girl), she was genuis... xD, she's and Nicole think about the sentences, while other groupies think about group names. First, Lisa and Amelia think up "You-Nik" as in Unique.

There was a lot of names we made up, but we chooses "You-Nik", hey c'mon, it's UNIQUE.

Then we have to put our works on the wall, which was inside the seminar room. And have a tea break.

The tea-break:

The tea break was awesome, we got to know each other while, sort of eating. xD And the menus are tea or coffee and roti canai. (it's an Indian food :3)

The continuation:

After that, we went the seminar room, and sited with teammates. My team was the 12. So we had to sit at the back, not REALLY back.. xD

But it's hard to heard the front people who are talking. We have to be complete silent.

Then we moved on to our next activities, which was Picture Captioning and News Captioning.

So Mrs. Jugdish taught us about the difference and we need to find two pictures and decide which is Picture Captioning and News Captioning.

The second-activities:

After that, we went outside the room, sited around the round table again. And we have to find the prefect picture to be caption. And we found it, the picture captioning was a picture of youngster playing internet games. And the news picture was about forest that have been illegal cut down and the government is afraid that it would coast landslide.

So blah blah blah... We did it. We come up the kicker for each picture, which was, "Too late to regret" and "Youngster Estasy-Frenzy"

Then we have to presentation on both of the picture. And the teachers who are there is our judge. xD

(i'm going have to jump this lunch-break, and blah blah blah time)

The winner is...:

So not our group. xD We got in 5th place. I didn't got my prize, 'cuz they didn't REALLY counted the group teammates right. :C

The leaving:

Before we left, we (our group) wrote down our names, dob, address, school, phone number and also email. Then, if we wanted to be a writer in Niexter, we have to take a picture of ourself (alone), and write down our phone number and email.

Then, we bid ourself good-bye. I regroup with my schoolmates back, and sited inside the cab and went back school/home. xD

The overall:

Fun, enjoying, awesome.

NST: You should make more of this. It's a great opportunity event to meet other students from other school!!

I'm so lively and joyful now. My bad days was gone at that moment. xD
